RJ EARNS COLLEGE BOARD FEMALE DIVERSITY AWARD

For the third consecutive year, Regis Jesuit has been awarded the 2023 College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for our continued increase in the level of female student engagement in the discipline of computer science. We are one of just 834 schools nationally to receive this distinction. According to data from the College Board, female students who take AP Computer Science Principles in high school are more than five times as likely to major in computer science in college, compared to similar female students who did not take Computer Science Principles. We are proud of this recognition of our efforts to continue increasing access to computer science education and preparing our female students for equal opportunities in higher education and beyond.
