READY TO ROLL!

Our immersion, right here in Denver, is set to begin Monday morning.
We are excited to begin our Denver Environmental Stewardship/Food Justice Immersion tomorrow morning! Our group has been meeting periodically this past month in preparation and now it is finally time to begin. We will be living community life out of the Colorado Vincentian Volunteers homes, venturing out each day to various locations around Denver to experience and learn more about the intersection of environmental stewardship and food justice right here in our own backyard. The Jesuits currently have four Universal Apostolic Preferences that guide our modern mission. We will be tuning our senses towards recognizing two of those on this immersion: Caring for Our Common Home and Walking with the Poor and Marginalized. As we return home each day, we will have chances to share meals together, pray, reflect and have some fun.

Please tune in for a daily update from our students and follow us as we explore Denver this week with visits to: EarthLinks, Mutual Aid Monday, We Don’t Waste, Ekar Farm, SAME Cafe and more!
