VARSITY BASEBALL HEADS TO STATE
Congratulations to the No. 6 Varsity Baseball Team on punching their ticket to the 5A State Playoffs after winning Regionals by defeating No. 27 Brighton, 6-3, in the first round and then No. 11 Mountain Vista, 2-1, in the regional final. A huge shoutout to pitcher Hudson Alpert ’26, who dominated on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings, and Chase Massey ’25, who hit a solo home run and walk-off double to win the game. The team will take on No. 3 Arvada West in the first round of the double-elimination CHSAA 5A State tournament on Friday, May 23 at 12:00 pm at All-City Stadium.
