BASEBALL ADVANCES TO STATE SEMIFINALS
Congratulations to the sixth-seeded Varsity Baseball Team on securing a spot in the CHSAA 5A State Final Four, continuing its run for the State Title. The Raiders defeated No. 3 Arvada West 11-5 in their first outing on May 23, then were dealt a tough 4-3 loss to reigning State Champs, No. 2 Cherry Creek, in Round Two of double-elimination play on May 24. The team went on to defeat No. 8 Castle View 9-7 to stay alive and earn the program's third straight Final Four appearance. Let's pack the stands for their next matchup against No. 5 Broomfield on Friday, May 30 at 10:00 am at All-Star Park in Lakewood. The winner will take on No. 1 Grandview at 12:30 pm for a spot in the May 31 State Final against Cherry Creek. Purchase tickets online at GoFan. Let's go, Raiders!
