FALL SPORTS RECAPS

Read below to learn how our Raider sports teams performed this fall. More details, including post-season honors and awards, can be found on our website on the individual team pages. Great job, Raiders!
  • Boys & Girls Cross Country—The teams sent 16 runners to the Class 5A Regionals in October and three athletes to the 2025-26 Class 5A State Championships in November, where McKenna Groen ’29 secured an impressive ninth-place finish. Groen also won the Continental League Championships and shattered the school record by over 15 seconds at the Liberty Bell Invitational in September. 

  • Field Hockey—The team lost in overtime in the 5A State Semifinals in November and finished the regular season with a 10-8 overall record.  

  • Flag Football—New head coach Terry Ellis joined the program, leading the Raiders to another fun and successful season. 

  • Football—The Raiders lost in Round One of the 5A State Playoffs and completed the season with an overall 4-7 record.

  • Boys Golf—The team placed 11th in the Class 5A State Tournament in October, led by Will Farber ’27, who placed 16th in just his first year with the team.  

  • Girls RugbySTATE CHAMPIONS! The team placed first at the State Finals in October, defeating Glendale 26-7. 

  • Boys SoccerSTATE CHAMPIONS! The Raiders took home the 5A State Title after an incredible 1-0 overtime win over Ralston Valley in November. This is the program's fifth State title—their first since 1996—and first-ever for Head Coach Rick Wolf. They also won the 5A Continental League Conference title for the third consecutive year and went undefeated during the season, finishing with an overall record of 18-0-2. The team also celebrated its first-ever win of the Jesuit Cup at the 27th Jesuit Classic Soccer Tournament in September.

  • Softball—The Raiders competed in 18 games this season and continue to grow the program. 

  • Boys TennisINDIVIDUAL & TEAM STATE CHAMPIONS! The Raiders went undefeated in the regular season, winning six Individual State titles and the Team State title – a first since the inception of the dual tournament in 2022. No. 1 Singles Alex Rodriquez-Field '27 went undefeated on the season, won back-to-back State titles, and was named the CHSAA Class 5A Player of the Year. Head Coach Laura Jones was named the 5A Coach of the Year.

  • Girls Volleyball—The team performed well this season and completed its season with a 9-14 overall record.
