Order of Christian Initiation for Teens

Regis Jesuit High School offers the Order of Christian Initiation for Teens (OCIT) for RJ students interested in formally joining the Catholic Church. The program supports students seeking to receive the Sacraments of Initiation—Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation—or to complete any of these sacraments they have not yet received.

OCIT is a year‑long journey that includes monthly formation meetings and prayerful reflection, culminating in a formal welcome into the Catholic Church. Through a catechesis program consisting of regular meetings of guided instruction with our required theology curriculum and retreat experiences, students will deepen their understanding of the Church and grow in their spiritual lives.

The OCIT program is overseen by the Office of Mission, Ministry & Diversity and the Jesuit Community, in collaboration with the Office of Pastoral Ministries and the Theology Department.
