RAIDERS CELEBRATE ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL AND SPIRIT-FILLED WISH WEEK

RJ's Student Leadership Class organized the school's fifth annual Wish Week to support Kash, a six-year-old boy suffering kidney and spine issues whose wish with the Make-A-Wish Foundation is to go on a Disney Cruise. From themed spirit days and special events throughout the week, ending with a festive all-school Pep Rally on Friday, May 2, on McNicholas Green, students showed both their Raider pride and their spirit of giving by raising funds to support Kash's wish and those of other children battling life-threatening illnesses. After the Pep Rally, the entire student body enjoyed a campus-wide Field Day during lunch!
Hosting Kash and his family on campus for the Pep Rally and Field Day fun, and seeing the huge smiles on their faces upon receiving the outpouring of love, was a truly special and humbling moment for our entire RJ community. Well done, Raiders, on raising an incredible $23,285 to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. You showed yourselves to be Men and Women with and for Others while supporting children in need!

A special thanks to the members of the Servant Leadership Class for their work in making this a memorable week. Let us continue to pray for Kash and his family as they continue to support him.

Way to go, Raider community!
