Kicking off the tournament, the No. 3 Raiders secured a dominating 9-1 win over No. 6 Chaparral to advance to round two, which was originally scheduled for Friday afternoon but delayed to Saturday morning due to severe weather. In game two, the Raiders suffered an upsetting 11-1 loss to No. 15 Valor Christian but bounced back in game three, thanks in part to a 12-run inning and grand slam by Andrew Bell '24, to defeat No. 13 Mountain Vista 15-5.

The team advances to the final weekend of the tournament where they will meet No. 25 Cherokee Trail in the third round of the consolation bracket this Friday, June 2 at 10:00 am at All-Star Park. The Raiders will need to win this and the following game against No. 5 Rock Canyon to qualify to compete in the Championship Finals versus Valor Christian on Saturday, June 3 at 10:00 am. Visit the CHSAA website for ticketing information and tournament details. Keep it up, Raiders!
