FACULTY ARTISTS HIGHLIGHTED AT THIS YEAR'S FACULTY ARTS SHOWCASE

For three days in April, Regis Jesuit faculty and staff took center stage to share their artistic gifts during this year’s Faculty Arts Showcase—a dynamic celebration of creativity and dedication. The event honored the many talents of the RJ community, embracing Fine Arts & Media Technology Teacher Ms. Heather Delzell’s belief that “art is not merely something you study, but something you live.” Hosted in the Steele Center, the showcase came alive with a DJ, dancers, live music and an impressive collection of visual art. Attendees were invited to experience and celebrate the passion, imagination and artistry that enrich the Regis Jesuit community far beyond the classroom.
The following faculty and staff contributed to this year's Faculty Arts Showcase:

Ginger Brown—Collage
Adam Dawkins '98—Photography
Laura Hall—Symbolic Drawings
Mark Heidenry—Sculpture
Matt Klassen '98—Guitar and Vocals
Jennifer Meyerrose—Oil Painting
Aldo Pantoja '01—DJ
Fr. Tom Rochford '64—Oil Painting
Amanda Samland—Photography

Additionally, Heather Delzell offered her own reflection, beautifully capturing both the excitement and the significance of the Faculty Arts Showcase.

Dedication to Our Artists in Residence
Today, we gather
to honor the artists who walk our campus each day—
not only as teachers and leaders,
but as dancers, instrumentalists, vocalists, and fine artists
whose creative spirits shape the soul of Regis Jesuit.
They are the ones who move through the world with choreography in their bones,
who hear music in the ordinary,
who carry stories in their voices,
who see color and form where others see only blank space.
Their artistry is not an afterthought—it is a pulse.
A steady, generous heartbeat that echoes through classrooms,
studio spaces, rehearsal rooms, and quiet corners
where inspiration first sparks to life.
Today, their work steps forward.
The dancers offer movement that speaks without words.
The instrumentalists weave sound into something luminous.
The vocalists lift melodies that rise as prayer.
The fine artists reveal visions shaped by patient hands and restless imagination.
This showcase is our tribute—
to their devotion,
their courage to create,
and the way they invite our students to discover
that art is not merely something you study,
but something you live.
May this showcase remind us of the beauty that grows
when educators lead with passion,
when administrators nurture creativity,
and when a community gathers to witness
the artistry that has always been here,
quietly transforming

Thank you, faculty and staff, for your creativity, brilliance and awe-inspiring artistic expression. You make us proud!
