Edward Quinn '71
Edward Quinn '71, son of James '43 (also deceased), brother of James '67, Richard '72 and Robert '74 and father of Peter '10, passed away on September 18, 2025.
"Ed was born in Denver, to Irene and James Quinn on April 6,1953. He attended Blessed Sacrament grade school and graduated from Regis Jesuit High School in 1971. Ed loved being a Real Estate agent in the Denver Metro area and managing rental properties for many years. He was a “master of all trades.” His greatest joys were his son Peter, Peter’s family, Carolina, and remodeling homes from demolition to completion. Ed had a very keen sense of design and maintaining historical beauty and charm in each home. He enjoyed the outdoors, lounging in his backyard with his faithful black lab Zeke, talking with family, music (Lou Rawls) and his Catholic faith. He donated to charities and supported many causes he cared deeply about throughout his life." Click here to view the full obituary.
Visitation and Rosary will be held at Mt. Olivet Funeral Home (12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheatridge, CO 80033) on September 29 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Rosary will begin at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (1530 Logan St., Denver, CO 80203) on September 30 at 9:00 am with a reception to follow.
We join the prayers of the community of Regis Jesuit with yours for the repose of Edward's soul and the consolation of his family and all those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
