Tom Yoda '18

Tom Yoda '18 passed away on November 2, 2025. 

"Tom was born on August 1, 2000, in Japan, and throughout his life, he shared his love, joy, and hope with everyone around him. Tom was from Kamakura, a beautiful coastal city in Kanagawa, Japan, where he spent his childhood and attended Seisen Elementary School before moving to Georgia and Colorado later with his family. In 2018, he graduated from Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado. He then graduated from Kenyon College in Ohio with a bachelor’s degree in physics, earning summa cum laude and Highest Honors in Physics. He was a third-year Ph.D. student in applied physics at Stanford University, which will be conferring a Master of Science in Applied Physics to Tom in the near future. Tom was an avid French horn player and enjoyed playing tennis, squash, and mystery-solving games." Click here to view the full obituary. 

An open-house memorial celebration will take place at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation in Centennial, CO on Saturday, November 8 from 2:00-5:00 pm. Guests are warmly invited to stop by, share stories and remember Tom together. 

We join the prayers of the community of Regis Jesuit with yours for the repose of Tom's soul and the consolation of his family and all those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
