WINTER SPORT RECAPS

Read below to learn how our Raider sports teams performed this winter. More details, including post-season honors and awards, can be found on our website on the individual team pages. Great job, Raiders!
  • Boys Basketball—In Head Coach Ken Shaw’s final season with the program, the team advanced to the Sweet 16 round of the 6A CHSAA State Playoffs and finished with a 15-10 overall record. During the season, Eric Fiedler '26 beat the school’s all-time scoring record as well as broke the program’s single-game school scoring record, with a huge 47-point performance.

  • Girls Basketball—Lost in the Sweet 16 round of the Class 6A CHSAA State Playoffs. The team finished the season with an 18-7 overall record and placed third in the league. Highlighting the season, the Raiders captured the program's 200th home court win in January.

  • Cheer—A first for the program, the team advanced to the Division I National School Spirit Championship Finals, placing 11th in the highly competitive Small Varsity Game Day division in February. They also qualified for the CHSAA 5A State Championships Finals for the first time in school history, finishing fifth in December.

  • Ice Hockey—Advanced to the CHSAA 5A State Frozen Four and finished the season with a 12-8-1 overall record, after placing third in the league.

  • Poms—Competed in the Small Varsity Pom Semifinals at the National Dance Team (NDTC) Championship in February. The Raiders finished seventh at the CHSAA 5A State Championships in December and placed third at the Continental League Competition in November.

  • Girls Swim & Dive—Earned a third-place finish at the 2026 Class 5A State Meet in February, qualifying 18 swimmers and one diver. Undefeated in the league, the Raiders placed first in the 5A Continental League.

  • Boys Wrestling—Two Raiders represented Regis Jesuit at the 5A State Tournament in February, placing 22nd out of 54 teams. Richard Avila '26 earned four dominant wins and placed third in his weight class, following a solid third-place finish at 5A Regionals in February.

  • Girls WrestlingSTATE CHAMPION! Nationally ranked Remington Zimmerer ’27 captured her second consecutive individual State title at the 5A State Championships in February and finished the season undefeated in the state with an overall record of 43–2. Sister Alexandra '29 placed fourth in her state debut, helping the duo to a 19th-place finish. The sisters also placed first and second, respectively, at the 5A Regionals in February. Head Coach and father, Zach, joined Remington in celebrating her 100th career victory during the season.
