We are a Catholic, Jesuit, college preparatory high school serving more than 1700 young men and women in grades 9-12 in becoming Men and Women with and for Others.
With nearly 150 years of history behind us, we are a Roman Catholic educational community rooted firmly in the nearly 500-year-old model of Jesuit education, leading the way in preparing students for the 21st century.
Our unique educational model combines the advantages of single-sex instruction with opportunities for young men and women to collaborate, serve, pray and socialize together to form the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
The strength of Regis Jesuit is found in the depth and diversity of its broad community of students, parents and alumni who strengthen and share their gifts through a lifelong Raider experience.
The transformational student experience has been developed thanks to a long tradition of generous philanthropic support of our enduring educational mission.
STUDENTS NAMED LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY STUDENTS OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to Caroline '22 and Jack '22Kessenich who have recently been named Students of the Year by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for 2021. The Student(s) of the Year is awarded annually to the candidate or co-candidates in each community who raise the most funds during the seven-week-long competition. Caroline and Jack led 'Team CUREsaders' in honor of their late father, David, setting a personal fundraising goal of $122,000 to commemorate the day their father lost his battle with multiple myeloma on January 22, 2020. Their dedication, hard work and strong fundraising efforts helped them not only reach, but well exceed their goal. They raised an amazing total of $155,074 and are now eligible to win the national title.
“Congratulations to Caroline, Jack and all our candidates, supporters and volunteers who helped to make Students of the Year a huge success. Despite the unprecedented challenges throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, they never lost hope,” said Kelli Anderson, LLS Colorado’s Campaign Manager for Students of the Year. "While everyone was working to adjust to a 'new normal,' they relentlessly wanted to make sure to not forget the over 1.3 million people living with or in remission from a blood cancer, many of whom are children. For these individuals, it’s not just about winning a title; it’s all about the impact they are making in their communities and the generations ahead of them.”
Other RJ students on Team CUREsaders were: Ella Cherveny ‘21, Claire Godzich ‘22, Andrew Kessenich ‘24, Katie Loftus ‘22, Madden McHugh ‘22, Ben Rasure '22 and Joe Riley ’22.
The team, also comprised of friends from Good Shepherd and four students from other local schools, brought in the most money ever raised for the Rocky Mountain Division of LLS’ Students of the Year campaign. Their team, along with Team aTAK Cancer, led by Kylar Cronin '21, Taylor Landow '21 and Ainsley Pitrusu '22, and other Denver metro area students, raised a total of $669,219 to support LLS’s goal of finding cures for blood cancers and ensuring that patients have access to lifesaving treatments.
Students of the Year is a philanthropic leadership development program in which candidates foster skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing and project management to raise funds for LLS, a global leader in the fight against cancer.
