James Canino
We are saddened to inform you that James Canino, brother of Christina Canino Troksa '14, son of Regis Jesuit's Assistant Facilities Manager, Mark Canino, nephew of former Regis Jesuit employee, Julie Alcorn, and cousin to current social studies teacher, Scott Alcorn '99, Nick Haws '96, Neal Jones '03, Michael Salz '18 and Cole Canino '24 passed away on June 19, 2021.
"James was an avid fisherman and snowboarder. He was at home in nature. Whether on top of a mountain, trekking through the Pacific Northwest or wading down a river he was in his element. Those that spent time with him outdoors learned to love nature the way he did. James enjoyed concerts, kickball, bowling and anything active to live his best life. He was always up for watching the Avalanche or the Broncos play, win or lose." Click here to view the full obituary.
A Memorial Mass is being held on Thursday, July 1 at 6:00 pm at Regis Jesuit High School Blessed Rupert Mayer Chapel. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will take place Friday, July 2 at 2:00 pm at Heritage Eagle Bend with a reception to follow.
