NHS BLOOD DRIVE HELPS TO SAVE LIVES

During the school day on February 1, members of the RJ chapter of the National Honor Society teamed up with Vitalant Blood Donation to host another successful blood drive on campus. Thanks to all the students and faculty who came out to donate, the group surpassed their goal of collecting 45 units of much-needed blood, instead collecting 51 units which is estimated to save up to 153 lives!
While many of the student and faculty donors had participated in past drives, we saw 26 new, first-time donors this time! Vitalant hopes they will become life-long donors supporting their work to save lives. A special shoutout to the faculty members who took part while their senior students were off campus participating in Senior Immersions. Way to be with and for Others in this life-giving ministry.

We are proud of you, Raiders!
