RESIDENTS AT CHELSEA PLACE ENJOY A SPECIAL SPA DAY WITH RJ STUDENTS

During their recent Immersion Experience, the juniors serving at Chelsea Place brought joy and pampering to the senior residents living there this Valentine's Day. Featured on Denver 7 News, the students enjoyed treating the residents in this memory care facility to a special spa day, offering hand massages and manicures as well as fun, Valentine-theme arts and crafts. Chelsea Place is just one of the 80 metro area organizations Regis Jesuit partnered with for our Immersion Experiences that our junior and senior classes participated in this January and February. These experiences call students away from regular class time to spend two weeks in our community, building relationships with and accompanying our vulnerable neighbors. While the seniors living at Chelsea Place surely enjoyed the pampering, happiness, gratitude and love were shared mutually between the students and residents. Way to be with and for Others, Raiders.
