Congratulations to the four Varsity Football Team members who have been selected to Class 5A All-State Teams for the 2023-24 season. Starting running back for the team Albert Medina '24 earned recognition on the All-State Second Team. Teammates Dylan Barry '24, Jack Manthey '26 and Trevor Nordstrom '24 each received Honorable Mention honors.

A special shoutout to running back Anthony Medina '24 who has been selected as the 2023 Offensive Player of the Year as well as being named to the Offensive First Team. Way to go, Raiders!

Do you have or know of a boy or girl student in kindergarten through seventh grade who is interested in playing flag football? Regis Jesuit is hosting the fourth annual Next Level Flag Football League, which runs for two months from March to May 2024. Teams are coached by RJ Football players, and all games and practices are held on Sunday afternoons on the Regis Jesuit campus. Learn more and register here! The No. 6 Varsity Football Team ended its run in the 2023 5A State Playoffs with a tough 25-23 loss to No. 11 Grandview High School in round two of the tournament on November 10 in Lou Kellogg Stadium. Ahead for most of the game, the disappointed Raiders watched as the Wolves scored a late-game touchdown with fewer than 20 seconds remaining on the clock to claim the victory. We are proud of the team for another outstanding season and look forward to packing the stands again next fall.

Congratulations to the Varsity Football Team who ended the regular season with a dominating 45-7 win over Fountain-Fort Carson on Friday, October 27. Finishing the regular season with a 6-4 overall record, the team now heads into postseason competition in their quest for the State title. The No. 6 Raiders earned a bye in the first round of the 2023 Class 5A Football State Playoffs and will begin their playoff run next week on Friday, November 11, taking on the winner of the Grandview versus Douglas County first-round matchup.

Congratulations to the Varsity Football Team on their victorious season opener against Valor Christian on August 27. Echo Park Stadium in Parker, our home away from home while improvements in Lou Kellogg Stadium are completed, saw starting running back Anthony Medina '24 run for more than 180 yards and earn all three touchdowns. A late-game interception by Lawson Douglas '24 and subsequent 24-year field goal kick by Jack Manthey '26 solidified the 24-21 win for the Raiders.

Varsity Football's Jace Filleman '25, Kai Shelton '25 and Albert "Anthony" Medina '24 were recently named to The Denver Post's top 100 Colorado high school football players to watch for the upcoming 2023 season based on last season's stats and post-season honors. Great job, Raiders!
