Congratulations to the two Varsity athletes who have been nominated as Players of the Year for the inaugural USA TODAY High School Sports Awards, presented by U.S. Polo Association. Representing the state of Colorado, Jack Ringhofer '21 has been selected for Boys Lacrosse and Morgan Schilling '21 for Boys Tennis. This award is given to only one honoree per sport per state and recognizes the best of the best in high school athletics.

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Lacrosse players who were honored at the end of the 2020-21 season with All-State and/or All-Conference distinctions. Jack Ringhofer '21 was named to First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference. Jack Egan '21 and Jack Casey '23 were both selected to Second Team All-State and First Team All-Conference. All-State Honorable Mention and First Team All-Conference honors went to Fletcher Sullivan '23. Teammates George Bowdouris '22, Zach Pfeiffer '21, Jayden Warlum '21, Logan White '22 and Adam Zdanowich '21 were selected to Second Team All-Conference.  We are proud of you, Raiders!

Congratulations to the No. 6 Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team on their first-round 18-4 win against No. 11 Fruita Monument on Tuesday, June 15. The Raiders are scheduled to compete against Colorado Academy in the Quarterfinal Round of the Class 5A State Playoffs on Thursday, June 17 at 5:30 pm.

Following a team victory of 14-7 against Chaparral High School on Tuesday, June 8, Regis Jesuit honored their long-time head coach, Jim Soran for his 30 years of coaching the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team and celebrated his incredible 350th all-time win.

On Saturday, June 5, the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team was featured on the Saturday morning 9NEWS Pep Rally for their unbeatable teamwork in their recent matchup against the Legend Titans. Despite a 14-4 loss to the Cherry Creek Bruins on Monday, June 7, the Raiders continue to hold steady at No. 4 in the CHSAA Class 5A rankings.

With a final score of 17-8, the Raiders outscored and outplayed the Legend Titans in their matchup on Tuesday, June 1 at EchoPark Stadium in Parker. The Raiders improve to 6-1 on the season and prepare for their showdown against No. 3 Cherry Creek next Monday, June 7.

Twenty-four Raiders signed their letters of intent to play at the collegiate level on Wednesday, February 3 during two back-to-back ceremonies broadcast live from The Z Theatre. The Under Armour All America Lacrosse games were held August 22-23 and several Regis Jesuit lacrosse players played their way to a roster spot on Team Southwest at this prestigious event. Team Southwest won the regional championship for both Upperclass girls and Underclass boys division.

In the boys underclass division, Fletcher Sullivan '23 and Jack Casey '23 were on the championship roster. In the girls division, Emily Bradac ' 23, Krissy Rael '21 and Cate Lord '21 all represented Team Southwest. Additionally, Jack Casey '23 and Cate Lord '21 each earned the Tournament MVP award. Way to go, Raiders!
