Walking the Camino Ignaciano

A Prayerful Pilgrimage

Twelve Regis Jesuit students and five faculty members left Colorado on June 3 to spend 12 days walking the same pilgrim path in northern Spain that St. Ignatius made 500 years ago. This delegation will be walking along the Camino Ignaciano with visits to several holy sites sacred in Jesuit and Ignatian history and spirituality.

Follow these Raider Peregrinos here on this blog as they make this journey. More than simply a cultural tour, this experience will involve a devotional walking pilgrimage of more than 100 kilometers, highlighted with two hours of silent prayer per day and liturgies in many of the holy sites. The delegation will strive to share reflective posts at least every day with images throughout the trip. They will return on June 15, but you can enjoy their reflections after that date as well. Most especially, say a prayer for them in making this journey, as they will be praying for the whole Regis Jesuit community.
