CROSS COUNTRY TAKES FIRST AND SECOND PLACE AT THE SALIDA CLASSIC

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams on their impressive finishes at the Salida Cross Country Classic on Saturday, October 2. The Girls Cross Country Team ran a tight race and took the team title with 32 points overall. Jo Collins ’23 was the fourth runner and first Raider across the finish line, followed by Erika Danzer ’24 in fifth and Molly Kate McCloskey ’22 in sixth. Runners-up to hometown Salida High School, the boys team was led by Matthew Tartell ’24, who crossed the finish line in eighth place, followed by David Flaig ’24 in ninth. Well done, Raiders! Both teams' next meet is the Continental League Championships on Thursday, October 14 at Highlands Ranch High School.
