HEARTBREAKING LOSS ENDS STATE BID FOR BOYS SOCCER
The No. 9 Boys Varsity Soccer Team ended their bid for the State Title in a disappointing overtime loss to Denver East in the Semifinal round of the 5A State Championship Tournament on November 7 at the University of Denver. Ending regular play in a 0-0 tie, the No. 4 seed Denver East claimed victory during the overtime shootout. The Angels scored all five of their penalty kicks, winning the shootout 5-3 and advancing to the title game. Coach Rick Wolf and the Raiders had an incredible season, finishing with an overall 13-3-3 record, and the best post-season run since 2019.
