GIRLS SWIM & DIVE TAKES SECOND PLACE AT STATE

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Swim & Dive Team on a spectacular second-place finish at this year's State Tournament on February 7-9. A special shoutout to divers Maya Kriz '24 and Sarah Mann '24 who kicked off the tournament earning second- and third-place finishes respectively in the 1-Meter Dive Championships. Defending State Champion Charlotte Burnham '24, took the repeat win in the 100-Yard Breaststroke, making her a two-time State Champion in this event. Highlighting their accomplishments this season, Burnham was named the Swimmer of the Year and Coach Nick Frasersmith earned Coach of the Year for the 2023-24 season. We are proud of you, Raiders!

The team, which sent 18 individual qualifiers and three relay teams to this year's competition, came in just three points shy of victor and repeat State team title holder Cherry Creek High School. Going into the final race, the Raiders were leading in points of the competition but were edged out by the Bruins.
