ICE HOCKEY ADVANCES TO STATE FINALS

Congratulations to the No. 1 Varsity Ice Hockey Team on defeating No. 4 Monarch 5-2 in the 2023-24 5A State Frozen Four matchup on Saturday, March 2 at South Suburban Sports Complex. Nolan Williams '25 netted two for the team. Teammates Ian Beck '24, Parker Brinner '25 and Harry Sorensen '25 each scored one goal. A shoutout to goalie Easton Sparks '27 who played a strong game in net, saving 33 of 35 shots on goal. The team advances to the Finals round where they will take on No. 2 Valor Christian on Tuesday, March 5 at 7:30 pm at The University of Denver's Magness Arena, in hopes of winning their seventh Championship State Title. This will be Raider's first title game appearance since 2019.
